Software Value Map Practical Experiences
In software intensive products such as cars or telecom systems, software has traditionally been associated with cost, and there has been no real perception of its value in relation to the entire product offering. This presentation presents a consolidated
view of the software value concept utilizing the major perspectives and introduces a software value map.The presentation provides experiences from applying the software value map at Ericsson for supporting product management decision making.
Dr. Krzysztof Wnuk is an Assistant Professor at BTH, researcher at Sony Mobile and Consultant at Qtema. He has a decade of expereince working with industry both on developing products and researching within software engineering, software business and software product management. He is also a board member of the International Software Product Management Association.
